I wake up in the morning and thank God for my arrival to the new day. Next I get on my laptop and look for new music and artist!!( Yes I am a LOSER) I just so happen to find X.O not to long ago so I guess you can call me an UPTOWN ROAMER!!( LOL) All jokes aside X.O is the truth, well atleast in my eyes. After hearing his last mixtape “The Takeover pt.1″ I was impressed and needed to hear more. Like anyone else wanting information I researched… That lead me to finding songs like “Ridin Remix” featuring Wale (The Takover pt.2) and then I new I needed to share X.O with you!!

XO~Im from uptown/northwest D.C.,but I live in Northeast now.
RBj~ How do you feel about the whole D.M.V movement?
XO~I feel that the DMV movement is cool….Ive always been hip too the hip hop scene here so its new too alot of people but its been around for a minute.
RBj~Everyone wants to either be a professional athlete or a rapper, but when did you know that you were actually good enough to proceed in a rap career?
XO~ I not even thinking about a career I just wanna make good music,and everything else will fall into place.Myunderstanding of music and life is so well rounded that making music is easy because I do it off of emotions and the way someone feels is a better foundation too create off of,so I write from the heart and what I feel.I love the art of it as well but why I do what I do is much deeper than ring tones and shit cuz music was the way history was past down before literature so the free styling and shit its just in my blood.I love it…if I make money off of it cool.
RBj~ Describe your rap style?
XO~ My rap style is crazy because I stole a little from every person i admire. All the greats.but I hav my own style because of that.
RBj~ Who are some of your favorite artist?
XO~My favorite rap artist are JayZ,DMX,Pac,Pun,B.I.G.,Nas,……I could go on but thats my top 5 right now.
RBj~When you rap I can hear your every expression, I can hear you put your soul on wax! Do you consider yourself as soulful dude?
XO~Yeah…..its from the sole and alot of thing I talk about is real so I mean it with all my heart.

XO~People can expect some diversity on their .I worked with alot of producers and im tryna let poelpe know about the D.C. scene im apart of …the whole ust scene…I got some down South, West Coast, up North beats on their.I wanted too appeal too the masses production wise. I also have mirror image, Wale, Skroog, Tragic, Lil Rap, Doecigapom,and Benji on the album.
Production wise i have Oddisee,Slimcat 78,Judah,Unknown,Y.U.,Mr.Hu,Blackberry Jones,Mastamind Dj,Sakwe,Ressinance,Duncan,and The Antidote.

XO~They should know about me cuz Im one of the illest and realest…
But they will know about me when the time is right……….,now is the time.
RBj~ Rap music is known from jumping from city to city! From every city in New York to Atlanta, how do you feel knowing that its next stop is DC?
XO~I’m exited and ready too bring tru music back…..not real hip hop but TRU MUSIC.
You can argue about what real hip hop is like one would argue if Jesus was black.
But truth is truth.and when you see shit changing in your city and America because of the music…..and you say too yourself….”when did we start doin that”….you will understand that culture can never replace the nature of truth.
RBj~ People love to compare art or artist all the time. I hear 2Pac when you rap just because of how you but you soul on wax and your voice, but who do you think you’re like?
